Signposts

  • Observation
  • Respect for the Highway Code

Each child has to bring from home a signpost. His/her parents must help him/her to draw it on both sides of a piece of thin cardboard (10 x 10 cm.).

All of them will show their mates the signpost they have drawn and its meanings.

Everybody will lend his/her signpost to another person in the class. Again, they will have to show the posts and explain its meanings (nobody can have the same signpost he/she brought). If any child can't remember the meaning when showing the post, the rest of the group can help him/her.

They will glue the signposts on a mural. In this way the children will be acquainted with them.
