To
accomplish AMEI-WAECE goals, we have carried out a number of activities,
which can be grouped as follows:

Since mid 1997 our communications are in Spanish
and English, which has helped us to obtain members in the five continents.
There is no doubt that the new technologies of communication have
helped our growth as an association enabling us to be in closer
contact with our members and making available our resources materials
and publications for consultation from any part of the world at
any time.
PUBLICATIONS
To accomplish our goal of training, informing and
making available our materials to our members to help them in their
daily work with children, we have designed a dual work circuit with
the basic foundations of:

AND DISSEMINATION |
Upon the proposal of any member of the Association and once studied by the board, work teams are established. They compile and prepare background information on the topic to then design proposals for concrete programs of intervention in the classroom. These teams are made up by members and are coordinated by our Pedagogical Consultant.
The work so prepared is sent to the LANDMARK CENTERS
a group that includes some of the best early childhood education
centers in the world and which test the programs sent to them for
their improvement and correction.
Once the process is finished, the final product
is included in our LIBRARY for permanent and free consultation by
our members.
OUR WEBSITE
To improve communication with our members, and to
foster the exchange of experiences among them, we have established
our website: WAECE.COM that is offered both in
Spanish and in English. Among its sections, we have:
This website is updated every two months, especially
in the sections of the magazine and the expansion of our LIBRARY,
in which we place dossiers that would be impossible summarize and
circulate in printed form.
Those members that do not yet have email can request
the documents they want in diskette.
