Development of the activity

Seated down in the circle, the educator reads two different stories. We recommend: "I kiss, kiss! ", of Margaret Wild. Ed. EKARÉ, and "I Want a kiss! " of Norac-Dubois, of Ed. CORIMBO. Both are about the pleasure that one feels when one gives and receives affection through a kiss.

The first story relates in a very minimalist way the story of a small rhinoceros that is playing and moves away from his mother. On the road he meets with many couples of animals, mothers and children (elephants, rhinoceroses, zebras...) that are kissing each other. He remembers that he has left without giving a kiss to his mother and he decides to retrace the road in his search to give her a kiss.

The second story is about a Hamster (Lola) that has a new brother and her brother bothers her asking her all kinds of things. At the end, when Lola is fed up of giving him all he asks for, her brother gives her a kiss and Lola is charmed and forgets the anger that she felt.

Both stories are very well told and with very good illustrations.

After reading the stories, we talk about the different types of kisses: with noise, silent, delicate, strong, at distance, etc. Each child gives a kiss to his partner on his side.

The educator begins by giving a kiss to the child on his right saying: "I will give a kiss with noise / silent / at distance to…....”
