Development of the activity The teacher asks the children to bring their favorite toys from home. They sit in the circle. Each child shows his toy and talks about it, commenting on who gave it to him, why it is his favorite, how long he has had it, if he has lent it at some time, etc. When all have talked about their toys, they exchange them with their partners so that they can play with them during the day. When the day is over they meet again and they comment on their experience. It is important to explain that the children have to take care of the toys that have been lent to them. The teacher should watch over this aspect to avoid displeasures to the children. If more than one child wants to play with the same toy, you can reach an agreement so that they alternate it during the day.
