Development of the activity

This is to make the children become aware that to be afraid it is not bad, and that the adults can also be very afraid, although some of their fears are no longer the same ones that we had in our childhood.

The educator sends a letter to the parents so that the children make a survey that they will answer in writing, explaining to them the reason for which we request their collaboration. It is important that the parents state the fears that had when they were children and that they have lost with time.

In the class, they sit in the circle and the answers of the surveys of the parents are read aloud commenting on how many types of fears the adults have and how they are different from the fears of the children. The educator asks them to say what fears they have lost and which still remain.

When done, they can draw dad's fear or mom's fear and one of their own present or past fears.
