Development of the activity

A story is read in which the characters face situations that produce fear in them. They can be classic stories as "The three little pigs" or contemporary as "Julio is afraid of the darkness."

They sit in the circle, in the reading corner, the story is read and the situation about fear is commented on especially.

Then the educator can ask the children:

" Have you felt fear at some time?

" In what situations?

" Which was the biggest fear that you had?

" How do we know when we are afraid?

" How many types of fears are there?

" Do they have different sizes?

" Are fears good for anything?

" Are the adults afraid?

" What does it mean to be brave?

" What should we do when we are afraid?

After several days of working on the topic, the children can draw the fears in a piece of paper and write what fear is and what size theirs is: small or big
