Dr Jacqueline Hayden is the programme manager for Social Inclusion and Respect for Diversity at the Bernard van Leer Foundation.  Jacqueline has worked in the development of early childhood programmes at local, state and national levels within several continents. She is author of numerous publications on cross cultural issues in early childhood education, service and program development, health promotion and policy analyses. Prior to joining BvLF,  Jacqueline was Director of Child and Youth Studies and Professor at the Research Centre for Social Justice and Social Change, University of Western Sydney , Australia .
