Venezuelan psychologist with good experience in family counselling, cultural exchange programmes and in the development of childhood and family support networks. She has coordinated innovative projects in the free use of time, international youngsters' exchanges with emphasis in cultural adaptation. She has participated in studies based on gender, effectiveness of children's programmes, and has been involved in the curricular design for teaching sciences and mathematics in primary education. Evaluation of a wide variety of programmes (childhood, family, education, gender) at national and international level with organizations like the Venezuelan Episcopal Conference, Child Foundation, Bernard van Leer Foundation, NOVIB, CISFEM, CENAMEC, Book Bank, AFS Intercultural Programs and W.K. Kellogg Foundation. She has also been university professor at the Andrés Bello Catholic University, Metropolitan University, University Institute AVEPANE, where she has taught Learning Psychology, Educational Integrative Seminar and Developmental Psychology respectively. Co-founder of the Fundación Apoyo al Niño y la Familia (AFIN), where she got involved in the design, implementation and evaluation of the Project Solidarity School Networks (REDES), based on the coordination of multi-sector and community efforts in order to incorporate excluded children in the formal education system. She presently works at Plan Netherlands as Senior Programme Officer in the Latin America Desk.
